This evening of Kirtan is a double celebration, not only is the Spring Equinox, it will also be the launch of Sivani Mata’s new album: Surrender – a double disc offering of mantra music made in collaboration with her bhakti brother Tabla Tom (www.tablatom.com) who will be coming from Stroud to bring his bhakti tabla rhythms to our gathering.
Join us for an evening of Kirtan. Dropping our awareness out of our busy minds and into our hearts, we will come together to sing the profoundly healing sounds of Sanskrit Mantra. From the path of Bhakti Yoga (pure love and compassion), Kirtan is fun, it feels good and brings one to a state of peace, joy and wellbeing.
We will end the evening sharing in prasad ~ a sweet treat that has imbued the blessings of our Kirtan practice.
All Welcome – If possible please bring your own cushion or blanket to sit on, and anything else you need to keep comfortable as we will have a limited supply of props.
