accompanied by Paolo Bisazza on drum Hanuman is the Hindu monkey god who embodies the aspect of the divine energy that is pure love and selfless service, which knows no limits. Hanuman is the essence of Bhakti: devotion towards that universal spirit, light of LOVE which is in us all and in everything. This coming full-moon is known as Hanuman Jayanti and is traditional for connecting with the Hanuman principle. We will honour this day with 3hrs of chanting the Hanuman Chalisa: a 40-verse poem composed by the Tulsidas in the 16th century. Through chanting this poem we too can begin to embody the characteristics of the great Hanuman.
