Creating connection through song Discover the delights of meeting together with others to learn and sing songs in harmony in the beautiful Georgian mansion surrounded by spectacular landscape at Beckenham Place. Everyone will be warmly welcomed whether you join us regularly or just drop-in when you can No experience needed as everything is taught by ear. Come and sing gentle warm ups and simple rounds to lift our energy and help us tune into ourselves and each other followed by easy songs that gradually progress to more complex harmonies and include songs from a variety of sources and cultures. It doesn’t matter whether you have sung a lot, or hardly ever, this workshop is designed to include and support everyone in participating freely without judgement. In the safe space that we create together, each of us has the opportunity to express our unique voice in a relaxed and accepting atmosphere. Experience a sense of belonging and well being as we make connections with each other through the beautiful sound of our voices coming together in harmony. WORKSHOP TIMES Workshops run on Saturday mornings, 10:30 am – 12:30 pm, on 14th April, 12th May, 16th June, and 7th July and on Monday evenings, 7:00 – 8:30 pm, from 16th April 2018 to 9th July (excluding Bank Holidays on 8th May & 28th May) and you are also welcome to mix between the weekly Monday evening workshops and the monthly Saturday morning workshops.
