This is a body based workshop designed to help you to understand how your body-brain system response to stress and overwhelm to keep you safe and sometimes gets stuck. This can lead to physical, mental and emotional responses to life events that cause pain or distress, taking you away from being present and grateful and enjoying your life.
Physical and emotional stress (and trauma) are stored in the body and show up as tension - usually in the neck, jaw, shoulders and hips. If these are not released, over time it can develop into chronic pain and illness.
There are many easy, natural ways to release both day to day stress and chronic pain related to stored patterns of stress or trauma in the body.
Join Rebecca, an experienced trauma/stress release practitioner, to understand more about how our bodies get stuck in these patterns and how to release them using body focussed practices including TRE®, Havening Touch™, essential oils, breathwork and a sound journey with gongs and crystal bowls.
This is for you if you are experiencing or have experienced STRESS or PAST TRAUMA and are aware of tension in your body, minor ailments, feelings of overwhelm, anxiety, fatigue, depression, grief, anger, frustration or a chronic illness.
You may be:
- looking for an alternative way to release stress or past trauma (overwhelming life events)
- experiencing ongoing or chronic physical pain that remains unresolved
- noticing feelings of anxiety, depression, grief, lethargy
- looking for some extra support to compliment ongoing or past talking therapies
- aware that you dissociate or struggle to be present in the now
This will be an engaging and interactive session involving all your sensory inputs. During the session you will learn:
- how to safely start and stop your autonomic tremoring release mechanism know as TRE (Tension & Trauma release exercise),
- how to apply Havening Touch for re-balancing and resilience,
- and experience the benefits of sound healing
- additional tools and natural ways to strengthen your system
