Open to all Reiki Drum practitioners and anyone who is Reiki attuned with an interest in drumming.
This event is a beautiful day of drumming, Reiki, networking and friendship. The day also gives us the opportunity to celebrate the Spring Equinox, a time of balance and new beginnings. The event has become something of an institution in the Reiki Drum world, and is a wonderful way to connect with like minded from all over the UK and Europe.
This wonderful event is in its seventh year, having originally been organised to coincide with the Great Ceremony of 8000 Sacred Drums, a global event which resulted from a prophecy revealed at the Otomi Ceremonial Centre by the Otomi Elders to the Indigenous Peoples and all Humankind and a Vision of Venerable Ancestors. This global event started on March 21st 2004 and took place every year in Temoaya, Mexico until 2012. Drum circles and groups around the world joined in on the Spring Equinox each year with the collective intention that on a day when the sounds of eight thousand sacred drums joined together, it would be the beginning of a true Healing of Mother Earth, of All the Species and of the Human Family – a time to unify ourselves and rediscover all the seeds of the sacred Directions in order to reactivate cosmic energy, heal historical wounds and heal Mother Earth by respecting life, liberty and the dignity of our Peoples. Although the event is no longer held each year in Mexico we still dedicate our day’s intention to collectively joining with those groups globally who meet at this time with the same intent.

We will have a shared vegetarian lunch, so please could you bring with you a vegetarian dish to share. For those of you who have spare treatment couches and are happy to bring, please notify Sarah on booking. Please bring a drum with you, as there are only a limited number to borrow.
In the past we've had around 60 people at the day, all drumming in unison! Because we are generally at maximum capacity for the space, you are encouraged to book as soon as you are able should you wish to attend as the
day fills very quickly. Because of space limitations, places do have to be booked in advance of the day.
A preliminary agenda is as follows: Welcome, Opening Ceremony, Reiju, Shared Reiki Drum Healing, Lunch, Reiki Drum Journey, Various Reiki Drum Group Practises, Group Drumming, Closing Ceremony.
For those of you who sell Reiki/Energy Healing/Sound Healing/Esoteric related products, please let me know if you should wish to have a small stall where you can sell your items to those who attend. There is no fee for this. Please let me know at the earliest opportunity so that we don't have too many people wanting to sell the same things.
In previous years we have had crystals, crystal jewellery, smudge, sound healing items, ethnic clothing, Reiki pillows, CDs and more.
Our 2016 event is being held in a new venue in Sawbridgeworth, so anticipating it to be brighter and better than previous years!
