Introducing Sound Healing mini-events every 6 weeks or so in Ellesmere.
The first of these will take place on Sun 15 December at my home (details of address to be divulged individually at booking) from 7-8.15, followed by refreshments. It’s an opportunity, if you’re anywhere near Ellesmere (Shropshire, not Port!) to start to get together on a regular basis and enjoy the benefits of chanting and toning together, supporting the college in our own small way, and also enjoy the social side of sound healing!
The theme for this first meeting is “Healing Harmonies”. Singing in harmony is beautiful to do, to hear, and the vibrations from harmony notes is profoundly soothing and healing, all the more so when we engage in it, rather than just listen to it.
The evening will begin with some vocal release warm-ups, followed by gentle chanting and toning, with harmonies developing as we go.
Afterwards, I’ll be providing some light refreshments (nut and gluten free), and we can perhaps discuss over munchies whether we’d like to do it again, with suggestions for the themes of subsequent sessions.
There is probably currently only space for about 5-6 participants, and although I have plenty of seating, you may wish to bring a cushion/blanket if you would like to relax on the floor. Because of the limited space, it'll be first-come, first-served.
The event is free of charge, but a small, voluntary donation to the College of Sound Healing would be appreciated. Also, but only if you are able, a tiny “gift” of some little nibblies, perhaps, to share with the others in the group would be lovely, but don't worry if you can't.
