UK, STROUD - Choral Weekend with Gavin Carr, Gavin Carr, Hawkwood CFT, Painswick Old Road, Wick, Stroud, GL6 7QW, 11 Aug 2023
Join us for a selection of inspired English choral music, featuring Howell’s sublime Requiem, including new and profoundly relaxing pieces by Paul Carr (from his recently released CD ‘I offer you love’). There will also be a couple of deliciously scrunchy arrangements by workshop leader Gavin Carr. Music-reading ability to a good standard is required for this course.
This weekend will give you the opportunity to deepen your knowledge with like-minded singers, in an inspiring setting. In Gavin Carr’s expert hands, there will be a strong emphasis on delight and fun – i.e. no stress. The weekend will culminate in a public performance.
