The power of the sacred drum lies in its ability to connect you with your bones, your heart beat and your natural rhythms. The drum acts as a mediator between heaven and earth, between the drummer and the spirits. The drum is the tool that allows the shaman/shamanka to travel safely between the worlds, to connect with another person's medicine and bring back that knowledge so that the person seeking healing can break through the barriers that keep them from being whole and connected.

This is the second certificated drum healing workshop offered in the UK and Steven - author of the bestselling book "Sacred Drumming" - is worldwide regarded as an authority on the mythology, tradition and use of the North American Indian hoop drum as a shamanic tool for healing and heightened consciousness. The late Wallace Black Elk, famous medicine man of the Lakota tribe, who adopted Steven as his spiritual grandson, wrote in his introduction to Steven's Sacred Drumming book:

The course is offered in 5 Modules spread over the duration of 12 months and it is certified by the CMA (Complementary Medical Association) and the College of Sound Healing.
During this in-depth training participants will gain the information and shamanic knowledge to use the medicine drum, rattle and voice in a wide range of therapeutic environments. As part of the course you will also learn to make your own drum and rattle - both of these will become precious tools for your own personal growth as well as in your work with other people.
