Sing for Water is a mass adult choir of over 800 people traditionally led by renowned composer, singer and musical director Helen Chadwick . Sing for Water was initiated in 2002 by Helen to provide a high quality concert event as part of the Thames Festival programme, while raising money and awareness for the charity WaterAid.

The mass adult choir is now an annual feature of the Mayor’s Thames Festival. In 2010, over 40 choirs from all over the UK took part in the concert.

Sing for Water events have so far raised over £487,000 for WaterAid projects in India, Burkina Faso, Ghana and Malawi, bringing clean water, sanitation and hygiene education to thousands of people.
CONGRATULATIONS to all of you that have helped achieve this!!!!

This year will mark the 10th anniversary of Sing for Water London and we want to make it very special. The concert will be held on Sunday 11 September and once again will be led by the fantastic Michael Harper and Roxane Smith. Helen Chadwick will be writing a song especially for the event and we will be joined by the wonderful Stephen Taberner of the Spooky Men!
