I, and my Naked Voice Facilitator team, are developing ongoing workshops in London focusing on the choral voice, and how our shared sound can respond to the challenges of everyday life with renewed confidence, courage and compassion. At the heart of this singing journey together, is the Singing Field, a unique meeting place where every voice is heard. What started as a one-year choral training has now evolved into a course of 3 or 4 weekends at a time. This, we are discovering, is a much more accessible way of learning the Naked Voice skills and how to transform the way we live and work. These communication skills are the essential elements of a new language of awareness anchored in non-judgemental listening, which will lead to the co-creation of a London Singing Field.
Singing Fields of London Course Requirements
In order to benefit fully from these choral trainings you are encouraged to attend all of the weekends below, however, we are reserving some places for those only able to attend one or two weekends to catch a taste of the work in motion. Our gratitude to those who have committed to the full course as this really helps to create a more grounded, adventurous and all-inclusive atmosphere to work in.
April 2-3: Weekend 1 - Introducing the Singing Field Concept & The Naked Voice Methodology. (Already completed)
June 4-5: Weekend 2 - How Can I apply the Singing Field Concept in my Everyday Life?
September 10-11: Weekend 3 - The Singing Field at Work - Introducing the Singing Field into my Workplace
November 12-13: Weekend 4 - Embracing London as a Singing Field - Introducing our Leaders to the Singing Field
February 4-5th: 2012 London Singing Fields Concert - A Celebratory Gathering (to be confirmed in June)
Cost of the Choral Training Programme
To attend the final three workshops only – June, September & November – the combined cost is £400/£265 concessions. To confirm your place please pay a non-refundable deposit of £100/£50 (concs), with the balance of £300/£215 (concs) due by June 1st.
To attend one weekend only the cost is £150/£110 concessions. To confirm your place please pay a non-refundable deposit of £50/£25 (concs), with the balance of £100/£85

In the interest of fairness and to ensure that the concessionary places go to people who really need them the following criteria must be applied to qualify: OAP, unemployed without the support of family, full-time student, or low paid part-time worker with no other means of support.
