Sound is at the very core of creation, for we are all in fact vibrations resonating in a vast symphony of sound. We live in an increasingly complex web of mechanical, human, environmental and social sounds and we each contain our own rich inner soundscape of thoughts, emotions and sensations. Sacred sound practices allow us to very simply return to a sense of stillness and silence and from there to expand into focused intentional sounding which can shift our vibrational tuning in manifold ways. The mind is stilled, the emotions soothed and the body softened by bathing in the sound current. We return to a rich and resonant experience of our own uniqueness within the vastness of the cosmos. Katie will lead an interactive session using voice and sacred instruments that will introduce the power of sound in a simple, fun and profound way. No previous experience of singing or sounding required – just an open mind and listening ears!
