One view of the human energy system sees it as a series of chakras (wheels) believed to be sound frequencies which can go out of tune. We have the perfect instrument which can resonate, re-tune and move the chakras towards their optimum whirl - our voices. The course draws upon simple sound structures in the form of toning from cultures of East and West to achieve this. Also relevant to this healing process are natural sound rituals such as laughter and humming, mantras, chants and Taoist sounds for the body’s vital organs. Simple movements encourage and direct the sounds. Tuning forks are brought into play for resonating the cellular system. No previous experience necessary.
