This wide-ranging day will be an adventure into the mysteries, effects and power of music in all its forms. Starting with modern sounds and technology we will journey back through time, touching on music’s relationship to healing, to our connection with the Divine and our emotions. The subtleties of hearing and the links between sound, voice and tone and their influence on the body, soul and spirit will be considered, as well as melody, harmony and rhythm. This workshop promises to be stimulating and interactive. Participants are invited to sing, listen and to bring an instrument if they can play it.
