, The Sacred Clown, Reuben Kay, Hawkwood College, 24 Aug 2012
Imagine a child rattling a stick along the railings until something catches their eye, a butterfly flutters past. For those few minutes, time seems to stand still and last forever. Sacred Clowning is a journey of self discovery, of healing, of laughter, of joy and learning to let go of expectations and simply be more present in the moment. Beginning with the breath, voice and soft movement, gradually we will explore dance, stillness, mime, improvisation, clowning, meditation and the red nose, where our imagination will support and lead us to discover a sense of wonder and a healing presence. Open to adults of all ages including beginners and those with more experience.
