Planet Earth, ONLINE ZOOM COURSE - The Yoga of Vocal Sound, James D'Angelo, Online Zoom, 03 Sep 2021
In this 7 week course on Friday evenings from Sept. 3rd to October 15th , James will be presenting three pathways of toning the chakras based upon both Eastern and Western traditions plus his own unique approach. He sees this work as vocal homeopathy , using sympathetic resonances. The object is to move the whirl/frequency of the chakra towards its optimum rate. He has devised simple Tai Chi like movements to help encourage and direct the sounds.
The second aspect of the sessions is focussed on the Taoist healing sounds and movements for the organs of the body and their corresponding emotions. These are unusual and potent sounds and movements to undo the stress played upon the organs.
He also includes some natural sound rituals and particularized mantra that are universal and energize the subtle energy field.
No previous experience is necessary and no one on the course will be asked to produce vocal sounds on their own to ensure complete relaxation.
