Be taken on an amazing journey deep within and enjoy the profound silence this can offer you as you drift into meditation/prayer. I will help you feel your own vibrations for PEACE and JOY. This sound bath can help shed stresses and strains which often fill our lives at this busy time of year. Using the beautiful, moving and healing vibes of 13 Gongs including Paiste Moon and Earth Gongs, conch shells, singing bowls, tuning forks and shruti box– combined with singing and chanting– I will help you tune in to your heart. This Gong Bath is being held in the beautiful surroundings of St Paul's Church in the heart of Whitley Bay which I have had the pleasure to work in for many years. A gong bath is a truly relaxing and blissful experience. The term "gong bath" means that you are bathed in sound, there is no water involved, you simply lie down or sit in a chair with a blanket and close your eyes. The sounds of the gong are very unique and lead you to surrender and often fall into a deep meditative state, deeper than a Zen monk. Everyone's experience is unique. A gong bath is very good at relieving pain and easing stress by taking people into a state of bliss and harmony. Just bring a cushion/pillow and a blanket to cover yourself and keep warm. (Yoga mat if you have one to lay on to cushion yourself from the floor - some are provided.) You can also be seated or propped up on pillows leaning against the wall. There will be refreshments offered after if you would like to stay and share and chat with seasonal snacks. Come in from the winter cold and enjoy this Gong Sound Bath as part of my offering to Whitley Bay's St Nicholas Festival. Season's Greetings and Thank You.
