UK, WILTSHIRE - Summer Solstice Events in Avebury Henge, Adrian Mieras, Silbury House, 21 Jun 2014
Beltane Blessings! Summer has officially begun! … so I thought I would let You know that Avebury Heart Centre will be hosting events in Avebury over the Summer Solstice weekend (21/22 June), and that You are invited! As in previous years, We will gather in the Northern Circle, on the ridge adjacent the “Moon Cove”, to await the Solstice sunrise over the Henge bank (just before 05:00). Several gong players will be set up from 04:40 ~ playing a rolling grounded welcome on Paiste “Earth” gongs, then switching to “Sun” gongs as the Sun rises. Shortly after, We will joyn Steve Stag nearby for an “All Encompassing Pagan Ceremony of Solar Welcome & Gratitude” warmly open to All Beings & traditions. At 11.20 a.m. We will host a Gathering in the “Sun Circle” for a “Peace Across The Planet” & Earth Healing Ceremony: an affirmation of the parts We play as Planetary Healers, and a meditation to celebrate the zenith of the Solar year (11:51) including “Sun” & “Earth” gong interlude. All are welcome to attend! Avebury Heart Centre has hired the Avebury Club venue for both Saturday, and Sunday, and there will be a program of meditation and Sound Healing presentations, on both days, by experienced practitioners (including John & Tanya Carter; The Bards of Avalon; Helen Keeley; Adrian Mieras; The Avebury Drumming Group - including willing attendees! :), using voice, gongs, crystal bowls, and drums. We will be linking to various groups in other important sacred sites around the planet, for Seven Rays meditations. [Please bring drum(s) if You have them!] The running order is yet to be completely finalised, but times will be: Saturday 21st June 13:00 ~ 17:30 £25 / £18 concessions Sunday 22nd June 10:00 ~ 12:30 & 14:00 ~17:30 £33 / £24 concessions Full weekend tickets: £50 / £35 The venue has parking for up to 35 cars (of huge importance on Solstice weekend), and places will be included in ticket price, on a first come basis from early morning. (Please let Us know if required; but sorry, but no overnight parking allowed! ; ) Mineral water, coffee, and a large selection of teas (including de-caff options of both) will be available without charge; plus a selection of divine raw chocolates, and raw vegan cakes/deserts offered for sale!
