Supporting the Development of SAMA Worldwide
Our offer to help build the Sound and Music Alliance into a truly international presence is to commit to the following: 1. To act as international development advisors to the SAMA board (Ellen Franklin for SAMA (US) and Andrew Hodges for the UK Sound Forum) 2. As the Sound Travels Sound Forum is unique in having developed the UK's own fully working, interactive and international Sound Forum we will advise and support SAMA in the development of the SAMA US website. 3. As a model site, we are committed advising and supporting other countries wishing to develop their own SAMA site. 4. As the Sound Travels Sound Forum is established and working, to offer to all delegates, their colleagues and associates an authoring presence on this Sound Forum so that they can immediately take part in the great Sound Debate. We support and promote the work of ALL authors on the Sound Travels Sound Forum. We actively encourage healthy interactions and discussions between all those performers, facilitators, healers, scientists, academics, composers, entrepreneurs, inventors, artists, musicians who are passionate about intentional sound. We do this by: ~ Regularly publishing newsletters and other material ~ Publishing Sound Articles and providing links to other useful Sound Sources ~ Making connections between the key providers of Sound Experiences. ~ Actively supporting events and activities by Sound Travels Contributing Authors ~ Growing our database of keen Sound Supporters through the use of the latest internet technology Our Commitment to Our Community Authors: ~ Providing an Author has either submitted a POST, published an ARTICLE, submitted a COMMENT or REVIEWED another Author's work, Sound Travels will include reference to that contribution in the next available monthly Newsletter. ~ Providing anAuthor has submitted notification of an Event or Performance on the Sound Travels Events Page Sound Travels commits to including reference to that event in the next available monthly newsletter.
