Almeji Retreat Centre
The Almeji Retreat Centre is due to opens its doors to their first group of participants. The 2025 programme begins in just over a week with the first course starting on March 9 th . This is a completely new venture which began in March of last year and which has taken just a year to develop. The retreat venue is set amidst olive groves and the rolling hills of the Genal Valley, with the historic city of Ronda just a stone’s throw away. The Hotel itself was originally a 200 year old olive mill and it combines a unique blend of rustic charm and unique hospitality. It is the perfect venue to host retreats and group events, providing a perfect escape for those seeking authenticity and tranquility in the heart of Andalucia. The programme which is being offered for this current year is an exciting one. The course leaders are all highly experienced and are experts in their field. A wide range of courses are available. These include group therapy, yoga, qigong, dance therapy, poetry, pilates, art and the Alexander technique to name but a few. There is also an experienced trail guide who is bilingual and lives locally. Through his expert guidance, participants will discover for themselves the beauty of this enchanting corner of Andalucia and experience its transformation throughout the seasons of the year. The 2025 programme will conclude with a very special Christmas week which will be full of fun and laughter but with ample time to sit in front of a log fire and quietly reflect.
